REPORTS TO: Materials Manager
OVERVIEW:
As a Customer Service Representative and Team Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional support to our customers while coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth operations. Reporting to the Materials Manager, this hands-on position includes handling ambulance parts orders, addressing customer inquiries, and collaborating with internal teams to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality service standards.
This role requires a blend of customer service excellence, organizational expertise, and teamwork. You'll be an integral part of the Life Line Emergency Vehicle team, contributing to our mission of delivering reliable emergency vehicles and exceptional customer experiences.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Respond to phone and internet inquiries, providing top-tier customer support.
- Process customer parts orders accurately, including order entry and packaging.
- Handle parts returns, create RMAs and credit memos, and maintain detailed records.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and purchasing teams to meet customer needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with employee inventory needs.
- Adhere to safety policies and contribute to a safe work environment.
- Stay knowledgeable about Life Line products, parts, and systems, including Global Shop, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail and high-quality standards.
- Support customers and internal teams with professionalism and a positive attitude.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
HOURS:
Working hours are 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with flexibility required for occasional early starts or late finishes.

Required Skills & Traits:
- Exceptional communication skills (phone, email, and in-person).
- Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail.
- Positive attitude and a team-player mindset.
- Self-motivation and discipline with a results-driven focus.
Preferred Experience:
- Customer service expertise with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Life Line products and parts is a plus.
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical training in a related field is advantageous.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, climb, and lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs.
- Vision capabilities for close, distance, and peripheral focus.
- Regularly work near mechanical parts and occasionally in outdoor elements or humid conditions.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Primarily indoors with moderate noise levels, occasional exposure to temperature variations, and airborne particles.
