Cybersecurity Analyst

We have an immediate need for a Cybersecurity Analyst to join a healthcare company for a contract to hire position that will by hybrid in Phoenix, AZ. This role will support the Enterprise Network Operations Security Center and Service Desk with threat intelligence data collection and analysis, research cyber threats, and participate in incident response.


Location: Hybrid in Phoenix, AZ

This job expects to pay about $40-50/hr plus benefits


What You Will Do:

  • Collect and analyze threat intelligence data from various sources, including open-source intelligence, social media, and internal sources.
  • Conduct research on the latest cyber threats, trends, and attacker methods. Research, synthesize, and analyze cyber-related tactics, techniques, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other cybersecurity teams to provide insights into emerging threats and potential vulnerabilities.
  • Actively engage in incident response and root cause analysis. Participate in incident response activities to analyze and remediate cyber threats.
  • Create documentation and update appropriate Knowledge Bases.
  • Proactively monitor and detect incidents.
  • Participate in on-call rotations to provide continuous support.
  • Support the Enterprise Network Operations Security Center (ENOSC) and Service Desk.
  • Identify and remediate threats.

What Gets You The Job:

  • 1-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, with a focus on threat intelligence and incident response.
  • Associate degree in a technology-related field.
  • CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP+), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), and Microsoft Azure Security Technologies AZ-500 certifications.
  • Knowledge of compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, and GDPR.
  • Experience with proactive monitoring and incident detection.
  • Ability to support ENOSC and Service Desk operations.
