Job Overview:

Sports Research is seeking an experienced and dynamic Brand Manager to join our marketing team. Reporting directly to the Director of Brand Marketing, the Brand Manager will be responsible for managing and executing brand strategies that drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty. This role requires a strategic thinker with a proven track record of success in brand management, a deep understanding of consumer behavior, and the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.


This position will be a member of the Marketing team under the VP of Marketing and report directly to the Director of Brand Marketing and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Product Development, Operations, and Sales, to ensure consistent and effective brand communication across all touchpoints.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Brand Strategy Execution: Implement and manage brand strategies to enhance brand positioning, awareness, and loyalty. Ensure alignment with overall marketing and business objectives.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, develop, and execute integrated brand marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, print, and in-store promotions. Monitor campaign performance and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Brand Identity Maintenance: Ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all marketing materials and touchpoints. Work closely with the creative team to develop and maintain brand guidelines.
  • Market Research and Consumer Insights: Conduct market research and analyze consumer insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Use data to inform brand strategies and decision-making.
  • Product Launches: Lead the development and execution of product launch strategies, including positioning, messaging, and go-to-market plans. Collaborate with product development, sales, and other teams to ensure successful product introductions.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including Product Development, Sales, Creative, and Digital Marketing, to ensure cohesive brand execution and alignment with business objectives.
  • Performance Analysis and Reporting: Track and analyze key brand performance metrics, including brand awareness, market share, and customer loyalty. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Budget Management: Manage brand marketing budgets, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources and adherence to financial targets.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 6+ years of proven experience in brand management, preferably in the health, wellness, or beauty industry.
  • Strong understanding of brand strategy, brand positioning, and brand equity principles.
  • Experience in planning and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior management.
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and tools, including CRM, analytics platforms, and project management software like Wrike.
