Our Project Team on the Pipestem Dam Spillway Modification Project near Jamestown, ND is currently interviewing for Batch Plant Operator positions to start immediately. We are looking for motivated individuals to add to our established project team.

Qualifications

Must possess competence in the following areas in order to perform this role in a safe, productive and effective manner:

  • Must have experience in concrete batching in ready mix or concrete paving.
  • Thorough knowledge of concrete batching technology, equipment and methods.
  • Maintain batch plant operations to ensure timely delivery of concrete.
  • Keep an accurate inventory of cement, fly ash, admixtures and aggregates.
  • Must have knowledge of aggregates.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment as needed.
  • Perform daily clean-up procedure in connection with the above work.
  • Experience operating twin shaft horizontal mixers.
  • Experience batching RCC.
Responsibilities
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
  • Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, climb or crawl.
  • Ability to correctly rig and hoist material.
  • Ability to tolerate heights without fear.
  • Ability to maintain balance.
  • Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time, reach for, handle, and manipulate items and to work in extreme weather conditions (cold and wet).
  • Confined Space, OSHA certifications (preferred).
  • Able to work long, irregular and varied hours, 50 to 70 hours per week.
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Ability to safely and effectively perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal , state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards.
