Summary

As the General Manager of the South Florida office (covering Palm Beach to Miami), you will play a pivotal role in overseeing a dynamic team, driving strategic initiatives, and ensuring the seamless execution of event services across various departments. From guiding workflow and managing work challenges to nurturing client relationships and representing the face of the company in South Florida. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in the world of destination management.

**There will be a required exercise for this position should you move to round 2.

Knowledge and Responsibilities

  • Proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong decision-making and strategic thinking.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to effectively convey ideas and objectives to both internal teams and external

clients.

  • In-depth knowledge of the DMC industry with a keen understanding of market trends and

customer preferences.

  • Strong desire to network and create industry connections for the department and company.
  • Solid financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and proactively address challenges.
  • Willingness to explore innovative solutions and drive continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed targets and KPIs.
  • Track record of successful project management and delivery.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with leaders from different departments.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive working environment.
  • Strong in general computer programs – Office such as Excel, Outlook, Teams, navigation, SharePoint, and diagramming programs.
  • Ability to embrace and adapt quickly, learn, and encourage emerging technologies.


Compensation and benefits

  • Base pay of $85K-$95K + commission.
