Summary

Effectively supervise the planning, organizing, and directing of production activities to achieve targeted productivity levels to cost effectively produce finished product with the highest quality food and safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Create an efficient teamwork environment to enhance productivity. Drive positive engagement throughout the team.
  • Work with supply planning to consistently achieve all daily line productivity objectives with no quality or production errors.
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding and working knowledge of all manufacturing processes and production machinery to maximize productivity and quality and ensure that all requisite production processes are adhered to.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team to minimize unplanned downtime and lost production through the constant monitoring of line performance and operating procedures.
  • Responsible for implementing and ensuring all quality and safety policies and procedures are followed in compliance with ABARTA Coca-Cola Beverages, TCCC’s North America Operating Unit, local, state, and federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations.
  • Ensure that all required safety training for Production associates is completed on time.
  • Maintain yield, line efficiencies and breakage metrics and establish corrective actions/continuous improvement opportunities when necessary to reduce waste.
  • Ensure that proper housekeeping and daily cleanup is done according to the Master Cleaning Schedule and required GMP’s.
  • Strategically establish the workflow for each department and operations according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times for all shifts.
  • Plans sequence of other manufacturing operations for guidance of production workers for all shifts.
  • Directs routine equipment maintenance and set-ups with the maintenance manager.
  • Collaborates with department managers to determine status of assigned projects that could impact Production/Warehouse operations.
  • Ensures production schedules meet forecasted needs provided by the ACCB Product Supply Team for Cleveland and other DC’s.
  • Ensures brand and company quality standards and specifications are continuously met.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-5 years of related experience and/or training or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Food and Beverage experience preferred.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to draft reports, SOP’s, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, and volume.
  • Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
  • Ability to understand basic high school chemistry as it applies to quality testing of manufactured beverages.
