Business Development/ Customer Acquisition position is available in Pasona N A office.

This position is responsible mainly for developing and nurturing new business opportunities by acquiring new customers and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers. Customer acquisition is also taking a lead role by collaborating with various stakeholders/subject matter experts to develop proposals and presentations to fulfill customers’ needs. This position identifies trends to build sales pipelines in accordance with targets.

* Job Description:

  1. Makes outbound prospecting communications to build and manage the relationship to develop pipelines via cold-calling, networking, e-marketing, and utilizing market information sources
  2. Develops a deep understanding of the customer including company goals, organization structures, decision-making processes, and pain-points
  3. Managing both our existing sales pipeline and developing new business opportunities
  4. Take a lead role in the development of proposals and presentations for new business materials to create and nurture business opportunities and partnerships
  5. Executes sales activities regarding outsourcing services, talent acquisition services and other new businesses
  6. Identify trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets
  7. Performs administrative duties related to business development
  8. Performs special projects and other miscellaneous duties


* Requirement:

1. Education / Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required
  • Three years of service development / sales experience is preferred

2. Language Skills

  • Ability to read, write and communicate professionally in English and Japanese

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment
  • Critical and logical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively on a team
  • Ability to visit multiple clients
  • Ability to deliver presentations and to negotiate when needed
  • Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and business management software

4. Other Requirements

  • Travels to client sites frequently by car and airplane
  • Must have a valid U.S. driver's license


* Salary: DOE (Base Salary & Profit Sharing)

* Location: Torrance, NYC, Houston, Chicago, San Jose, Atlanta

* Work Hour: 9:00-6:00 Local time (Hybrid work)
