Who are we?
Camira are a multi-award-winning textile manufacturer with two centuries of heritage and a forward-thinking approach to innovation and sustainability, Camira designs and manufactures environmental fabrics for the commercial, public transport and residential sectors.
Purpose:
To develop Camira’s presence in defined markets to ensure that sales and marketing strategies are established and executed to meet Camira’s global goals. This role will align closely with the existing Independent Rep Group for the market, to build brand recognition through various sales channel opportunities.
Key Responsibilities/Main Duties:
- Be an instrumental part of the sales management team for the North American market.
- Support implementation of aligned dealer programs in collaboration with Camira’s OEM managers.
- Development of brand position & specifications with A&D firms in the territory.
- Development and build brand awareness amongst designers, architects, developers, and property owners within the Hospitality and Leisure markets.
- Develop brand position & sales at dealer level in territory.
- Develop brand position & secure specifications and sales, working closely with the OEM partners’ A&D sales professionals.
- Implement programs to support the Camira story and bring the brand to life. Work closely with Camira marketing team to improve tools & branding elements.
- Contribute to the planning of product introductions as well as execution of these in the market area.
- Use CRM and social media to engage with customers.
- Participate in industry trade shows, local IIDA events and other networking events.
- Participate in monthly/quarterly meetings.
- Contribute to the company culture by adding knowledge, ideas, drive & passion.
Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
- Experience of delivering training/sales presentations
- Excellent analytical skills and a good assessment of business opportunities
- CRM knowledge and analysis.
- Excellent communicator at all levels
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience from using social media as sales tool is an advantage.
Qualifications & Education:
- Technical understanding of fabrics for acoustics and furniture.
- An understanding of how a supplier / manufacturer relationship works within the Contract Furniture Market.
- An understanding of contract furniture and/ or finishes.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business/marketing/design or equivalent.
- Self-motivated with the ability to use own initiative.
- Passionate and results orientated.
- Passionate about Sustainability.
- Flexible approach to working hours and willingness to travel.
- The role will be a hands-on client facing role.
- Full, clean driving license.
- Competitive and “refuse to lose” mindset.

The position is based in the US with domestic and international travel required on occasion.
