Marketing Project Manager

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Direct Marketing Creative Manager to join our Fortune 500 Fintech client's team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing content for direct marketing channels, including email and direct mail. You will act as the brand representative, driving strategic marketing goals and overseeing the creative development process from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brand Representation: Act as the Brand representative for a designated product, autonomously driving strategic brand marketing goals.
- Campaign Management: Lead strategic brand development for ongoing and new acquisition campaigns, as well as testing initiatives for the Auto business.
- Creative Development: Develop creative briefs and work closely with creative partners to bring business intent to life through compelling marketing channel creative deliverables.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Business Analysts, Product Owners, Creative, Legal, etc.
- Data-Driven Insights: Collaborate with analysts to understand total business performance and build on analysis to identify new opportunities and optimize marketing testing strategies around creative and audience segmentation.
- Research and Strategy: Synthesize research insights, marketing trends, competitive landscape, and macro external factors to identify new strategic recommendations to improve results and brand impact.
- Storytelling: Tell consistent and compelling stories about our products and services, championing our brand and enhancing the end customer experience.
- Creative Process Facilitation: Facilitate the creative to execution process, gaining deep understanding of channel-specific executional systems, processes, and procedures.
- Influence and Communication: Influence internal decision-makers with formal recommendations and informal networking through excellent communication.
- Process Improvement: Act as a steward for well-managed processes, identifying opportunity gaps and areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in direct marketing, including email and direct mail creative development. Experience leading and managing creative processes and working with creative teams.
- Tools: Proficiency in Workfront and Figma (experience working with a creative team in Figma preferred).
- Marketing Channels: Proven experience with email marketing or direct mail marketing is required. Digital marketing experience is a plus.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s in Marketing or MBA preferred.
- Industry Experience: 3+ years of experience in financial services marketing or direct response marketing. 2+ years of experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Skills: Excellent judgment, multi-channel marketing expertise, a passion for leveraging data, metrics, and insights, and highly effective communication skills with outstanding writing, editing, and presentation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced Education: Master’s degree in Marketing or MBA preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in financial services marketing, direct response marketing, or direct-to-consumer marketing focus.
- Leadership: 2+ years of experience presenting to senior leadership.
