Data Visualization Lead

This person will work cross-functionally to support project life cycles, ad-hoc analysis, documentation, and future proofing the reporting experience. This is a client embedded position, at a single client site, that requires a highly consultative skill set and personality.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES

Supplemental dashboard maintenance for various business teams/stakeholders

Work with data engineer to get new data added to the table in Databricks whenever new product launches.

Understand and be able to walk the business team through any of the three main dashboards

needed.

Review dashboards in advance of monthly meeting and be prepared to walk the three

brand teams through the key changes/findings once a month using the dashboard in the meeting.

Monitor for any dashboard refresh failures (sign them up to receive the emails from our PowerBI

cloud)

Investigate any unusual, unexpected data in the dashboards, investigate to determine if there is a problem and if something is wrong or if it is an interesting insight, bring it to the team's attention.

Keep business side stakeholders informed of all data problems encountered for awareness.

Keep data viz stakeholder in the loop on problems, issues, and changes.


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Power BI -proficient
  • Power Query -proficient
  • SQL-proficient
  • Software development life cycle (1+ Year)
  • Microsoft Office with a focus on Excel and Power Point (3+ Years)
  • Understanding of website and digital media analytics and digital marketing concepts such as cookies, pixel tags, privacy standards, SEO, social media, advertising attribution methods and models
  • Adobe Segment and Analytics (nice to have, not necessary)


Qualifications:

Ability to demonstrate business intelligence development skills.

Ability to demonstrate database query skills.

Strong understanding of waterfall and agile project management concepts.

Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to manage multiple, complex projects and deadlines.

Strategic and critical thinker.

Strong presentation, people and documentation skills.


The target hiring compensation range for this role is $100-120K per year. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location. Additional benefits offered may include:
