Our client, a top meal kit company in the U.S., is looking to hire a part-time Director of PR
This is a 20-hour work week opportunity that requires someone to work from their NYC office once a week.
Requirements:
- 10-15 years of experience in public relations, with at least 3 years in a leadership / management role
- Demonstrated experience in managing successful PR Consumer campaigns
- A Consumer PR pro - you have a strong understanding of the media landscape and what drives earned coverage
- Ideally you have experience working with food and/or D2C brands
- A critical thinker—Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
- A clear communicator—with excellent written and oral communications skills.
- MUST have brand-side PR experience, ideally a mix of brand and agency experience.
- Must have managerial experience
*This is not a heavy management role, more mentor and sounding board.
