Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Leadership: Lead complex administrative duties requiring high skill, agility, reasoning, good judgment, and decision-making.
  • Project Coordination: Lead special projects/assignments by establishing objectives, setting priorities, aligning with MMIS standards, and managing progress.
  • MMIS Helpdesk Management: Lead and manage the MMIS CA Uni-Center ticket queue for access requests, coordinate across MMIS teams, and maintain procedure updates. Collaborate with the Access & Controls and Helpdesk leads, as well as the UMASS Security team.
  • Cross-Team Coordination: Maintain relationships with the MassHealth Assistant Chief Information Officer’s (ACIO) office and MassHealth senior executive management offices to coordinate support.
  • Financial Management: Partner with the MMIS PMO Lead to manage and process monthly invoices and maintain the MMIS Budget system.
  • Project Intake Support: Collaborate with the MMIS Development arm to support MMIS Project Intake, ensuring submissions are tracked.
  • Staff Management: Manage on/offboarding staff and establish procedures for ongoing coordination across MMIS Management and Team Leads.
  • Asset Management: Institute systems to support software licenses and inventory tracking, and report on these activities. Maintain a good working relationship with the EOHHS Asset Management team.
  • Meeting Management: Handle MMIS Director meeting requests, including agenda preparation, minute distribution, related correspondence, presentations, and follow-up activities.
  • Communication: Send reminders for overdue action items, announcements, and status requests. Participate in meetings, record minutes, and manage meeting materials.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct research and analysis, run queries, prepare documents and reports, and summarize information into charts and graphs.
  • Operational Support: Draft system outage notices and support the development of operational procedures, instructional guides, and memos.
  • Data Management: Develop MS Excel charts, graphs, pivot tables, and workbooks.

  • Prior experience in an IT environment is a plus

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • 5 years of hands-on experience

  • Provide a high-speed, uninterrupted modem for remote workspace
