Position: Controls System Engineer
Duration: 12 Month Contract + possible extensions
Location: Dearborn, MI – hybrid schedule (in office 2 days a week, Monday – Thurs)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- Experience working in the Automotive industry
- 3+ years of experience in integrating controls systems for automotive applications
- Experience with C, C++, MATLAB, or Simulink
Plusses:
- Experience using YAML
- Knowledge of powertrain systems
- Familiarity with HIL and SIL testing
Job Description:
As a Control System Engineer in this position, you’d be supporting the team that is responsible for the design, development, and validation of controls systems that are related to A/C, Alternator, Starting, Thermal Systems and Vehicle Propulsive Systems. The ideal candidate for this role, will have a strong background in controls systems engineering and innovative automotive technology.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting testing, validation, and optimization of control systems for automotive applications
- Analyzing data, identifying issues, and developing solutions to enhance software performance and efficiency
- Collaborating closely with feature engineers
- Attending daily stand-up meetings
- Assisting with determining what release content needs to go out
