Genius Talent has partnered with a medical laboratory organization in search of a Business Development Associate The Business Development Associate plays a pivotal role in driving profitable growth through budgeting, planning, and client acquisition. They are tasked with expanding the client base within designated regions, conducting market analysis, and supporting the sales team. The role requires a proactive approach to identifying and pursuing new business opportunities while ensuring excellent client service and adherence to regulatory standards.


Responsibilities:

  • Conduct market assessments and develop business development plans.
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with prospective clients, promoting services.
  • Utilize a CRM database to manage and prioritize prospects within assigned territories.
  • Develop and execute individual sales budgets and work plans to achieve business growth objectives.
  • Identify customer needs and propose solutions, cross-selling and upselling services as appropriate.
  • Collaborate with the Business Development team to optimize sales strategies and timelines.
  • Maintain accurate records of appointments and progress updates for management review.
  • Address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
  • Represents the organization at conferences, events, and marketing activities as required.
  • Adhere to regulatory compliance standards, including HIPAA and AKS regulations.
  • Meet deadlines for expense reporting, sales planning, and schedule submissions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
  • Ability to build relationships with healthcare professionals and staff.
  • Knowledge of healthcare system processes and reimbursement.
  • Strong work ethic and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel overnight as needed.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with client service principles and practices.
