Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role as VP of Channel Success—US at Tango Networks. The VP of Channel Success will be responsible for maintaining and growing channel sales, developing strategic partnerships with channel partners, and overseeing marketing efforts.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead and grow the US regional Sales Team responsible for engaging, activating, launching and supporting suitable committed, loyal and scalable Channel Partners in line with Tango’s Success Framework.
  • Working with the SVP for Global Sales and Marketing to determine the regional OSTSM – Objectives, Strategy, Tactics, Support, Measures to hit and exceed the Tango’s growth targets.
  • To work closely with the regionally based sales resources of our strategic UC vendor partners.
  • To build and grow Tango’s presence in the Unified Communication marketplace, in particular the Microsoft and Cisco sectors.
  • To understand our Channel Partners’ businesses and develop strategies and incentives to ensure their success in building and delivering a business pipeline with pre-defined growth plans.
  • Continually assess, clarify, and validate Channel Partner needs.
  • Gather market data and identify untapped market potential.
  • Track, measure, and report on Channel Partner effectiveness against targets and adjust programs and strategies as necessary.
  • Work cross-functionally internally to ensure messaging alignment, operational coordination and evangelization of Channel Partner success strategy.
  • Coordinate and conduct ongoing Sales Success Training for Channel Partners.
  • Coordinate with Channel Partner marketing to ensure the execution of programs and events to drive leads, pipeline, and deal progression. Develop joint messaging and value propositions that highlight mutually beneficial relationships and value to the end customer, along with repeatable sales enablement programs and toolkits.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with Tango’s Strategic Partners to align on mutual business benefits.


Experience Requirements

  • Know and understand the Microsoft Operator Connect and Direct Routing, as well as the Cisco CCP Partner ecosystems.
  • Demonstrated progressive channel leadership experience globally within the communications (Microsoft Teams Phone, Cisco Webex Calling) industry.
  • Experience building and managing Channel programs.
  • Demonstrable track record of success in strategic channel planning by owning sales targets and managing sales forecasts.
  • Experience in a high-growth sales-oriented company. Strong ability to interact and influence effectively with the Tango leadership team and Executives.
  • Record of recruiting and enabling top talent.
  • Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and explain them to audiences of varying technical expertise.
  • Excellent time management and written/verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to travel regionally and globally as required.
  • Shared values and ethos.

Performance Indicators

  • As with all sales roles, the VP of Channel Success will be responsible for setting KPIs for their team that align with the wider Company KPIs that focus on growth.
