PropertyRate, a rapidly growing, venture capital backed, tech-enabled outsourced real estate and mortgage services company with offices throughout the country, is seeking a leader for a newly formed department responsible for collecting, analyzing and productively utilizing our expansive pool of operational data related to a national network of lender clients, independent appraisers (and the properties they value) and technology vendors. We are passionate about making the often-complex process of home financing easier for borrowers, lenders and the service professionals who help homeowners close their mortgage loans. We offer team members a supportive, casual and energetic environment with significant opportunity for personal and professional growth. We are an incredibly flat organization where Managers have a meaningful opportunity to impact the culture, and gain exposure to and mentorship from senior executives. This role is ideal for an analytical, process-driven and service-focused leader who is excited to advance their career and help build a best-in-class team in the dynamic mortgage technology and services space.
Position Description and Responsibilities: The Manageris responsible for developing, training and managing a high-performance team focused on utilizing our system’s data to provide integrated support to clients and team members in sales, account management and operations. This person will be a player-coach, capable of both managing complex projects involving data analysis, enterprise software systems, and large distributed client and vendor networks and leading a dynamic team responsible for accurate data collection and maintenance, efficient and timely operational analyses, and insightful performance reporting. Lastly, the Manager/Director of Business and Network Intelligence will be the critical link between our technology, operations and sales teams, insuring the knowledge and expertise housed in each of these functions is shared with key stakeholders and thoughtfully incorporated into any critical technology or operational process changes.
This position requires the Manager to work onsite up to four days per week at one of the Company’s offices in Orange, CA, Mesa, AZ or Columbus, OH, though remote work may be considered for highly qualified candidates in other locations.
Key responsibilities include:
● Develop and consistently execute on efficient processes for collecting and maintaining the accuracy of client and vendor data, including where possible incorporating automation and machine learning;
● Lead the client onboarding and performance analysis / reporting processes, including the management of a team of sales operations / client relations associates, and the education and training of clients in the use of our proprietary and third-party appraisal management systems;
● Develop and execute on efficient processes for identifying, contacting, regularly validating the qualifications of, and measuring the performance of, and supporting informed decisions on the allocation of business to independent appraisers and other property service providers;
● Coordinate with resources in technology, operations and finance to lead the development and maintenance of data analysis and visualization tools, including but not limited to operational dashboards and status queues;
● Support the integration and continuous improvement of multiple proprietary and third-party work-flow management systems and office productivity software solutions
Skills and Qualifications: The ideal Manager will be highly analytical, organized and process-driven, with a strong understanding of both data analytics and service-driven, customer-focused operations. The Manager will need the communication and project management skills required to lead a small team of direct reports, while collaborating with and marshalling the support of peers and executive leadership across the organization. The Manager will be required to manage the translation of detailed client service requirements into system functionality and operational processes that allow for the efficient and scalable delivery of services and easily accessible analyses of sales, operations and compliance. Accordingly, the Manager needs to have the ability to quickly assimilate technical information, display patience under pressure, and exhibit insight and problem-solving skills for all client and team member requests and situations. As the service and sales issues facing the company vary widely and can be complex or urgent, a successful Manager will also have attention to detail, be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and make decisions independently, and possess effective time management, prioritization, and multitasking skills.
Qualified applicants should possess:
