This position will serve as the VP Asset Management who will be interacting across all levels of the organization with direct interaction with the executive leadership, as well as with other team members and vendors. Due to their growth and expansion, the need has arisen to recruit an experienced Asset Manager responsible for providing recommendations on asset acquisition and manage a portfolio of assets, increasing their value, and minimizing risks. The VP Asset Management will be tasked with conducting risk analyses, preparing financial, asset management, and investment reports, reviewing policies, and developing strategies to maximize asset growth.


We are seeking an executive with proven asset management skills, coupled with a personality that will match the culture of the firm. This executive will have the opportunity to evolve and expand their career to the next level of professional advancement and our goal is to recruit a team member who will be a long-term asset, with the ability to scale with the business as they continue to grow.This executive will also interact heavily with their PE sponsor on a weekly basis.



The Candidate

Education

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA is a bonus.


This role will work with existing Asset Management Team to handle/assist in the follow activities:


  • Monthly AM Reporting to Equity Partners
  • Expense Analysis
  • Quarterly Valuations
  • Property Budgets (Capital & Operating Expense)
  • Expense Management
  • Rate Setting
  • Interface with Tenants / Brokers
  • Assist in Underwriting of new assets.
  • P&L Assumptions
  • Axio / Third Party Data
  • Assist in Master Lease Negotiations
  • Interface with Equity Partner on ESG Initiatives
  • On / Off boarding of Assets - Transactions
  • Work with third parties on all Property Tax related items
  • New Asset UW
  • Appeals
  • Work with third parties on all Insurance related items
  • New Coverage
  • Claims on existing assets
  • Run lead or assist on Capital Projects
  • Coordination with outside contractors as well as communication with Operations Team
