Role Overview: VP Level QA Team Lead
In PWM, we recognize Quality Management as a vital technical competency crucial to our success.

The PWM QA Engineering team is tasked with ensuring that our applications and products undergo thorough quality testing, function as intended, and that regression testing is automated using standardized tools and frameworks developed by the QA Engineering team.

We are in search of VP-level QA Team Lead Engineers who can guide a team of QA engineers in formulating and executing a comprehensive Test Strategy for applications.

Successful candidates will collaborate closely with Developers, Project Managers, and Users throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), designing and writing Test Cases based on requirements, and mentoring QA team engineers in executing, automating, tracking, and reporting results, as well as troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution.

Technical Skills Required:
  • 10+ years of professional experience in reviewing and comprehending business requirements, BRDs, FSDs, Wireframes, etc., and developing high-quality test cases that thoroughly cover all testing aspects of the application.
  • 7+ years of hands-on experience with various QA Automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber, JMeter, FitNesse, JUnit, LoadRunner, SONAR.
  • 5+ years of coding experience with programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • 5+ years of experience in testing server-side Java applications utilizing a microservices architecture, with familiarity in full-stack development and Agile methodologies.
  • 3+ years of experience leading QA teams across different applications.
  • Meticulous attention to functional and UI details, with a strong focus on verifying and validating new functionalities against existing design specifications and requirements.
  • Ability to design and execute test cases, create test data, track and report progress, and drive defect resolution with minimal supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of developing and maintaining QA processes centered around JIRA for defect reporting and test case execution tracking.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in mobile testing with tools like SauceLabs or Perfecto is a significant advantage.
  • Prior experience in financial institutions is a plus.
Soft Skills Required:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with Developers, Project Managers, and Users.
  • Ability to lead and mentor a geographically dispersed team of QA engineers.
  • Collaborative approach to working with application managers and key stakeholders to plan and execute the test engineering strategy and roadmap.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Dynamic, self-motivated, and comfortable in a fast-paced, often multi-directional work environment.
  • A team player with strong interpersonal skills and a quick learning ability.
