The Opportunity:

We present an exceptional opportunity for a Tax & Consulting Partner to elevate their career within a mid-sized CPA firm recently acquired by a young, dynamic wealth management firm. This in-office role offers the chance to take over a substantial book of business from a retiring Partner, ensuring continuity and growth. Ideal candidates are seasoned professionals who excel in tax and consulting services, possess strong leadership skills, and are eager to drive the firm's success during this exciting transition period.


Responsibilities:

  • Client Management: Take over and manage an established book of business, ensuring seamless transition and continuity of client services.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, leveraging existing relationships and developing new ones to drive firm growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with firm leadership to develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at expanding the firm’s service offerings and market presence.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide high-level tax and consulting services, staying current with industry trends and regulatory changes to offer innovative solutions to clients.
  • Client Advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering insights and guidance on complex tax and financial matters.


Requirements:

  • CPA certification required.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant tax and consulting experience in a public accounting firm, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of managing a substantial book of business and maintaining strong client relationships at the Senior Manager level or higher.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong business development skills with a focus on expanding client services and market presence.
  • Committed to providing exceptional client service and fostering professional development within the team.
