The Foundation for Endodontics (FDN) supports endodontics by providing resources and funding for research, education, public awareness, and access to care. The Foundation supports saving natural teeth for all through the efforts of endodontic specialists.

 

The FDN is currently seeking a Foundation Coordinator to join our team. Reporting directly to the Foundation’s Assistant Executive Director (AED), the Foundation Coordinator works independently to perform a range of complex operational tasks in support of programs, fundraising, committees, volunteers, and special events. This role provides support to the entire Foundation team, serves as the liaison between internal and external contacts and may oversee project specific work of supporting departments, board & committee members, donors, volunteers, and vendors. This is a critical role that coordinates many of the Foundation’s activities related to fundraising and programming.


Key Functions:

  • Provide support to the entire Foundation team.
  • Support the AED, Development Manager, and Corporate Relations Manager with the Foundation’s annual fundraising campaigns.
  • Support the AED in preparing materials for Board of Trustees, committees, and other groups.
  • Support the Program Manager with the operational maintenance of a wide range of programming.


General Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a power user of donor database to support the entire team in maintaining donor, prospect, and program participant records.
  • Assists in management of communications to donors, prospects, grantees, and applicants, with oversite from managers.
  • Manage content calendar and execution for Foundation social media channels.
  • Content creation for a variety of marketing and communication efforts.
  • Assist in management of webpage updates


Fundraising Activities:

  • Process and acknowledge contributions
  • Assist in management of donor database – data administration, reporting, assistance with moves management.
  • Assist in preparation of solicitations
  • Assist with special fundraising events and programs, such as receptions, presentations, visits, and stewardship events.


Programs Activities:

  • Assist in the coordination of submission, review, and approval process for 10+ grant programs.
  • Process grants payable.
  • Manage Foundation International Access to Care volunteer logistics and assist the Program Manager with Domestic Access to Care program logistics.


We expect:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and 365.
  • Proficiency in donor database administration and configuration; experience working in Charity Engine or Raisers Edge helpful but not required.
  • Experience in social media planning, content creation, platform management, and reporting.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, time management, and organization skills.
  • Experience writing feature articles or development communications preferred.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies.
  • Ability to solve problems and work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong stewardship and customer service skills.
  • College degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year of related experience in customer service, department administration, office support, or with another non-profit organization preferred.
  • Familiarity with the dental industry or non-profits is highly desirable but not required.
  • Available to attend occasional after-hours and weekend events and meetings.
  • Available to travel overnight to occasional meetings/events.
