Helpdesk Support (Tier 1) – Remote
We have an immediate need for a contract Helpdesk Support (Tier 1) to join a leading distributor of best-in-class construction materials. The Helpdesk Support (Tier 1) will be responsible for resolving level 1 end users issues spanning across email accounts, password resets, MFA, etc.
Location: Santa Ana (Remote) – Must work 8am-5pm Eastern Time Zone hours
This job expects to pay about $20- 25 per hour plus benefits
What You Will Do:
- User account management including email issues, password resets, setting up MFA, etc.
- Manage Tier 1 Helpdesk tickets in a timely manner
- Respond to end user issues via phone, email and computer chat
- Work within ticketing system to create detailed work logs and technical documentation.
- Run diagnostics to resolve end user reported issues
- Escalate issues to Tier 2 as needed
- Install, make changes and repair computer hardware and software
- Follow-up with end users to ensure issues are resolved
What Gets You The Job:
- 2+ years of experience working in an IT Helpdesk Tier 1 position
- Must have experience working in an enterprise level environment with a high number of end-users
- Excellent oral communication skills
- Must be detailed oriented with the ability to develop detailed notes on tickets
- Highly organized with the proven ability to keep Helpdesk tickets in order
- Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues
- Must be professional with strong phone etiquette
- Prior experience resetting passwords in Azure is a plus
- Prior experience with Zendesk is a plus
