Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager with expertise in ground-up construction and site work, specifically for supermarket or big-box anchored retail centers. The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of experience in Construction Project Management.


Wick’s latest development project, serving as their own GC, just broke ground this Spring and will be fast tracked for winter 2025. Wick is excited to be redeveloping a parcel into a grocery store anchored shopping plaza with several national tenants already onboard for most of the 17 stores in the plaza. The project will feature an upscale real brick façade, parking fields including electric vehicle charging spaces, and enhanced landscaping located on two major access corridors.


This role will be responsible for delivering projects on time and on budget from buyout to closeout. Maintain appropriate documentation through project such as RFI logs and change orders. Successful candidates will be detail and deadline oriented, with a solutions-based mindset and a personal desire to grow as a leader.



A successful candidate:

  • 7+ years of experience in Construction Project Management
  • Working knowledge of skilled trades including carpentry, masonry, concrete work, site excavation and grading, plumbing, fire protection, HVAC, and electrical.
  • Working knowledge of construction technology and details. Candidate must be extremely proficient reviewing and understanding all construction documents including specifications and drawings.
  • Ground-up experiences with site work for supermarket or big box anchored retail centers
  • Excellent communication skills with various parties including management, subcontractors, consultants, architects, vendors, and clients.
  • Proficient with computers including Microsoft Office.
  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction Management a plus
  • Knowledge of Procore a plus.
  • Knowledge of Yardi a plus.
