Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at George J Hayden Inc. As a Project Manager - Electrical Construction, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of electrical construction projects, ensuring timely completion, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage electrical construction projects from start to finish, ensuring compliance with safety protocols and company standards.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, timelines, and schedules, analyzing adherence to project budget and implementing cost control measures as needed.
  • Lead and manage a team of electrical construction professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure project success.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure project goals are met and customer satisfaction is achieved.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and suppliers to ensure long-term business success.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience in electrical construction.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in electrical construction, with a proven track record of project management success.
  • PMP certification and knowledge of project management software, such as Procore, are a plus.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of electrical construction professionals.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety.
Working Conditions
  • Jobsite visits may require lifting, carrying, or moving 50 pounds or more.
  • Able to work 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week.
Special Requirements
  • Must have a current, valid Driver's License, a satisfactory driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel local, in-state, and out-of-state to jobsites as needed.
  • Undergo and pass required background checks, drug/alcohol screenings, and physicals.
