OSP Construction Coordinator Job Description

SRI Telecom is seeking a highly skilled OSP Construction Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our cross-functional project teams, you will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of OSP projects, from design to permitting to build, with a focus on Comcast.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize a Salesforce-based online scheduling tool to track hundreds of project tasks.
  • Assign tasks to internal and external teams using Salesforce.
  • Monitor and update tasks for your team and provide updates on upcoming tasks.
  • Alert your team about new task assignments.
  • Participate in project calls and provide relevant updates.
  • Assist the construction manager in the field with newly acquired information.
  • Collect updates from the construction manager and update tasks in Salesforce.
  • Generate reports on project milestones, risks, and issues.
  • Support Specialists and leadership with project coordination.
  • Communicate with all involved teams to drive project progress.
  • Manage a large number of projects using an Excel tracker.
  • Handle data within proprietary software.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Project management skills are essential.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Outlook is required.
  • Strong cross-functional team coordination skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of tasks and drive them to completion.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently after proper training.
  • Ability to learn and navigate proprietary software.
  • Outside Plant Experience is beneficial but not required.

Salary: $24.13-$27.88/hr.
