Role: Program Manger IT
Location: Torrance, CA
Work Type: Hybrid, 2x week in Torrance, CA
Contract: W2 only, No Corp to Corp applicants
Seeking a highly-motivated, experienced IT Sr. Project Manager who will lead the project team in alignment with the department, divisional, and business unit objectives. This role will provide governance and oversight of end-to-end delivery, resource management, administrative direction, and leadership guidance and support for members of his/her team. The Sr. PM will be working closely with multiple areas, in addition to managing vendor suppliers.
To Skills:
- Agile & Waterfall experience: need to have minimum of 7 years of Agile experience
- Very strong communication skills and strong presentation skills
- Expert in using MS Office tools (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
- Experience in using Confluence and Jira
- Leadership role: Led large programs with multiple stakeholders and agencies
- Jira/Confluence tools to manage project artifacts, user stories.
- Salesforce ecosystem/family of Products.
- Cookie Management Concepts and Regulations, as well as the OneTrust Cookie Consent Management tool.
- 10 to 15 years of IT work experience
- 10 plus years managing complex IT projects
Technical Program Management:
- Utilize scaled agile methodologies to manage and deliver programs efficiently.
- Establish KPIs and metrics to monitor programs' technical performance and provide reports for senior management.
- Ensure that all programs adhere to quality standards and best practices through effective quality control processes.
- Provide technical guidance and support to development teams, troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions.
- Partner with Project Managers and Product Owners to develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring timely delivery and alignment of priorities across various projects and groups.
- Partner with Project Managers and Product Owners to manage project budgets, resources, and risks, ensuring projects are delivered within financial constraints and meet program goals.
- Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
- Achieve the QCD goals: including schedule, budget and quality commitments. Effectively link IT activity to business outcomes.
- Ensure the resolution of incidents and management of problems that impact the delivery.
What will this person be working on
- Develops the program strategy, supporting business case and various enterprise-wide high-level project plan.
- Ensures integration of projects and adjusts project scope, timing, and budgets as needed, based on the needs of the business
- Communicates with IT leadership, business leadership and IT Business Consultants to communicate program strategy, direction and changes
- Responsible for delivering all projects contained in the IT project portfolio on time, within budget and meeting the strategic and business requirements
- Responsible for tracking key project milestones and recommending adjustments to Project Managers
- Partners with senior leadership of the business community to identify and prioritize opportunities for utilizing IT to achieve the goals of the enterprise
- Works under general direction of senior level management
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the design, development and implementation of the program
- Directs and mentors a team of project managers, portfolio managers and/or other project management staff
