RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work with the business, engineering, and development teams to evaluate and

determine the best cloud options.

• Design, create and implement modular cloud-based applications that are highly

available and scalable.

• Lead the design and implementation of AI solutions, leveraging Microsoft’s AI services.

• Develop and test code and data pipelines for AI applications.

• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and ML technologies.

• Evaluate existing portfolio of applications (desktop applications and cloud applications)

and recommend options to combine the applications into one solution.

• Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers. Educate teams on the application of

fresh cloud efforts and technologies.

• Continuously monitor and optimize cloud resources. Regularly assess current systems

and recommend any improvements.

• Lead efforts to enhance cloud security and compliance.

• Manage solutions encompassing operational administration, system/data backup,

disaster recovery, and security/performance monitoring.

• Use best practices for creating and maintaining cloud systems.

• Ensure that data processing and storage operations are done effectively and in

compliance with corporate security guidelines.

• Identify, evaluate, and mitigate infrastructure vulnerabilities and solve any application

deployment issues.

• Interact with users to provide cloud support and guidance in accordance with users’

requests.

WHO WE´RE LOOKING FOR?

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or Engineering.

• Extensive working knowledge of Cloud technologies in Microsoft Azure is a must.

Experiences with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), or Amazon Web Services are preferrable.

• Excellent communication skills verbal & written in English. To be able to communicate

with development teams as well as business teams and engineering experts.

• Vast experience in developing cloud applications which are scalable, available, and

aligned with industry best practices.

• Knowledge of RESTful API development and integration.

• Ability to solve complex technical problems and accomplish tasks with minimal

supervision.

• Extensive experience with scripting and automation, including knowledge of one or

more programming and scripting languages (C#, Python)

• Familiarity with Azure AI services, including pre-built AI components and custom ML

models.

• In-depth knowledge of cloud security best practices.

• Strong leadership and project management skills.

• Proven track record of successful cloud infrastructure projects.

DESIRABLE EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in one or more cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)

• Industry vendor certifications are desired (e.g. Azure, AWS, GCP or CNCF/Kubernetes

certifications); although not essential if you have demonstrable ability

• Experience designing, building, and maintaining solutions in Azure, GCP or AWS

• Excellent knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools such as Azure DevOps / GitLab

• Familiar with containers (OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker etc.)

• Experience with data engineering and data science workflows.

• Passion for continuous learning and staying at the forefront of AI advancements.
