Accounting Staff perform a variety of tasks in the Accounting Department. This includes keeping financial data current, processing disbursements, and reconciling accounts. Accounting Staff will operate Tabs3 accounting programs to process firm transactions such as accounts payable and receivable, disbursements, expense reimbursements and check requests. This position must have a positive attitude, with the ability to handle multiple competing projects in a fast-paced

environment. A strong attention to detail is a must.


Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Prepare checks and staff reimbursements;
  • Prepare client financial distribution of settlement funds;
  • Process A/P invoices;
  • Generate financial reports as requested;
  • General bank and trust deposits and monthly bank reconciliations;
  • Weekly check runs;
  • Regular review of vendor statements;
  • Prepare W-9 requests and annual 1099 filings;
  • Perform tasks as received including but not limited to: void checks, write-offs, open and close new files;
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Skills and Qualifications:

This position requires proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software.

Qualified individuals will have a strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices and by able to prepare general ledger entries and understand reconciliation procedures.

A positive customer service demeanor and the ability to prioritize are required.

The position requires accuracy and a sharp attention to detail.

Employees must have a strong command of the English language and the ability to use proper spelling, punctuation and grammar.

Qualified persons will maintain a professional appearance, be motivated, and self-directed.


This is an in-office role making up to $80,000.00 yearly
