The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing, compliance, and reporting. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll for our clients, handling payroll queries, and maintaining up-to-date payroll records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process payroll for employees accurately and on time.
  • Ability to process weekly prevailing wage jobs to certify weekly payroll for union employees.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations.
  • Handle payroll inquiries and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain and update payroll records, including deductions, garnishments, and benefits.
  • Prepare and submit payroll reports.
  • Collaborate with HR and accounting teams to ensure accurate employee data.
  • Stay current with changes in payroll laws and regulations.
  • Assist in year-end payroll activities including W-2 processing.
  • Provide support during audits and other compliance activities.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in payroll software LCP Tracker, DIR, Elations, etc.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.

Pay: $30 - $35 per hour
