Job Title: Territory Sales Manager

Overview:


The Territory Sales Manager will play a pivotal role in capturing market share for FLOORSPLUS within their assigned territory. The primary responsibilities include introducing our product line to qualified customers, addressing inquiries, overcoming objections, and maintaining a professional demeanor. This role requires staying informed about competitors' product demands and pricing. The manager will be our on-the-ground representative, ensuring client offerings are current and competitive.


Key Responsibilities:


Product Knowledge: Exhibit comprehensive knowledge of FLOORSPLUS products and services.

Lead Generation and Customer Engagement: Generate leads, build rapport with existing customers, and reach out to new potential customers. Guide them through the entire sales process, from initial outreach to closing, including installing display racks or hand samples and ensuring retail store’s sales rep engagement.

Account Maintenance: Maintain and grow sales within existing accounts, with the potential for transitioning high-volume accounts to dedicated account managers.

Market Share Growth: Identify potential customers through identification of prospects, networking and referrals, and increase market share in the assigned territory.

Daily Client Visits: Conduct daily visits to existing and new accounts, with 75% local travel and occasional overnight travel.


Specific Projects or Tasks:


o   Grow market share within the assigned territory.

o   Identify and target potential customers.

o   Limited interaction with the warehouse and frequent communication with the office for order and delivery coordination.





Required Qualifications:


Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or marketing preferred but not required.

Experience: At least 2 years of sales experience (territory and/or inside sales) preferred.

Skills: Must have a HUNTER mentality, excellent time management, and organizational skills. Ability to build rapport quickly and proficiency with technology (WeChat, HubSpot, email).

Additional Requirements: Must have a clean driving record and the ability to drive. Cold call outreach experience via phone/email and in person is a plus.


Work Environment and Conditions:


Work Setting: Remote position with required travel to client sites.

Physical Requirements: Occasionally lift up to 50 pounds (less than 5% of the time) and comfortable driving to and from client retail stores and potential job sites (approximately 80% of the time). 


Performance Metrics:


Success Measurement: Based on the number of display setups completed weekly/monthly/quarterly and converting these accounts into regular ordering customers.

KPIs: Number of display setups, ordering rates, and total revenue sold. The sales quota is set at $50,000 per month, subject to adjustment based on the base salary offered.


Salary and Benefits:


Salary Range: $42,000 to $60,000 per year.

Benefits: Company car and use of phone/tablet/computer. No additional benefits provided.


Opportunities for Growth:


Potential advancement to a regional sales manager position, overseeing 1-4 sales reps and potential account managers.
