Role description:
Arcadis is seeking a part-time* Entry-Level Project Assistant to join our team in supporting technical project administration work for multiple project managers in addition to general administrative support to our Columbus, Ohio office.
*Full time option available as well.
This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our team locally with support from one of the best-qualified consulting firms in the country. In this position you will work on project-specific work, such as: tracking progress of various projects, preparing reports regarding contracts for management use, arranging meetings, monitoring schedules, project budgets and preparing and distributing routine correspondence related to the projects, for project teams simultaneously.
Role accountabilities:
- Assist Project Managers with the review, production, and delivery of meeting notes, summary reports, presentations, and other non-technical deliverables.
- Regular use of Microsoft Office Suite and other technical platforms to aid in preparing, formatting, and assembling of deliverables; upload deliverables to client sites, develop and maintain electronic project team sites
- Regular interaction and communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain required certification documents and coordinate with staff regarding weekly time and expenses.
- Assist with typical duties such as but not limited to setting up meetings, answering phones, making travel arrangements, helping direct incoming calls, and document production.
- Work on multiple projects/tasks simultaneously and manage multiple/simultaneous deadlines
- Perform file management and various other administrative duties as needed
- Previous technical/administrative experience in a fast-paced setting; with strong computer skills, and a high level of competence in Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, and Excel.
- Highly motivated with a desire to pursue continual innovative improvements in processes
- Demonstrate productivity, effectiveness and excellent communication (both written and verbal) while working both independently and within a team
- Exceptional time management and organization skills with the ability to work under time constraints and prioritize/ plan work, while working on multiple tasks for several projects/ managers simultaneously
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor or Associate degree in Communication, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1-3+ years of related experience
- Finance background or coursework.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is$18.85 - $28.81 / hour. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
