Brave New World is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer II to join our team in Columbus, OH. This role offers the opportunity to work on exciting projects, with the first assignment being an airport project.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical contracting and a passion for project management. They will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager in overseeing all aspects of the project lifecycle, from planning and scheduling to execution and closeout.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Project Management: Assist the Project Manager in ensuring timely completion of tasks and adherence to deadlines.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Documentation: Prepare and maintain project documentation, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Cost Control: Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost-effective project delivery.
  • Scheduling: Develop and update project schedules to ensure timely completion of tasks.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $90,000 and $115,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The company offers comprehensive health benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401K retirement plan with company matching.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on large-scale projects valued at $10 million and upwards, with a preference for those experienced in assisting Project Managers with RFIs, cost coding, and working with other Project Engineers/APMs. We can be flexible on degree and experience, but a mechanical contracting background is preferred.
