A finance associate is a professional who works in the finance department of a company or financial institution. Their primary role is to support the financial operations of the organization and ensure that financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.



Job function:

  • Manage financial recordkeeping, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Contribute to the budgeting and forecasting processes, offering insights and analysis.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and internal controls.
  • Support internal and external audits with documentation and reports.
  • Mentor and guide junior accounting team members.


Qualification/skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field (Preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
