Role Overview:
As a Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in synthesizing data from multiple sources to support investment decisions and operational efficiency. Your primary responsibility will be to translate complex data into actionable insights, ensuring seamless communication between the IT and investment teams. You will work closely with both teams to understand their needs, develop data-driven solutions, and enhance our decision-making capabilities.
Experience:
- Years of Experience: 6-7 years in roles that combine industry knowledge with data expertise.
- Reporting & Analytics: Demonstrated experience in reporting, Business Intelligence (BI), and Business Analytics.
- Practical Experience: Prior experience as a BI/Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or Financial Analyst is advantageous.
- Data Skills: Proficient in data analysis and management.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Data Analytics & Best Practices: Strong understanding of data analytics, mathematical modeling, and BI best practices.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and BI visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Modeling Expertise: Experience with data modeling tools and languages like Excel, R, Python, Alteryx, etc.
- Financial Analysis: Knowledge of financial analysis and reporting.
- Educational Background: Advanced education or certifications in Data Science or Mathematics are a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Performance Presentations: Prepare and deliver quarterly performance presentations.
- Automated Tools: Develop and implement automated processes and tools to standardize outputs, including presentations.
- Dashboard Management: Take ownership of and make updates to the Deva Dashboard.
- Ad-hoc Reporting: Manage ad-hoc reporting requests, including calculating metrics to inform business decisions and evaluate investment performance.
- Data Accuracy: Create and refine tools and processes to ensure data accuracy.
- Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance data management and reporting processes.
- Business Integration: Integrate annual business plans and revaluations into financial metrics and business reporting.
