POSITION SUMMARY

A Sales Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day support of the Sales Department, Motel 6/Studio 6 customers and the processes and programs used by them in the course of developing Business to Business sales accounts.

 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

–     Corporate account set up and maintenance

–     Processing account applications through credit and tracking approvals

–     Coordinating with pricing to have rates loaded within GROW

–     Coordinating with IT PMS (Property Management System) team to have rate codes processed in Hotel Key

–     Coordinating with AP (Above Property) to have Vanity CPs set-up

–     Data entry in GM (Goldmine) as requested.

–     Transfer of accounts in GM and CP Sales as requested

–     Provide guest folios as requested

–     Process incoming Sales@6 emails in a timely manner

–     Monitoring Sales@6 phoneline. Returning customer phone calls and inquiries

–     Providing supplies and materials to all field sales reps as needed

–     Work with sales rep and IT to troubleshoot and correct account/reservation issues as needed

–     Special projects as assigned

–     All other duties as needed or required


Job Requirements:

–     Accurate data entry into sales systems

–     Communicate effectively with customers, prospective clients, and other Team Members verbally and in writing

–     Follow direction to prioritize the workload and change direction quickly

–     Track activity and prepare reports

–     Research information needed by Account Executives

–     Maintain databases, filing systems and storage areas

–     Pack and ship sales materials and supplies as needed

–     Handle occasional customer complaints

–     Maintain a positive attitude and demonstrate a dedication to achievement of Sales@6 team goals.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

·        High School graduate or equivalent

·        2 years work experience in an office environment

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills

·        Basic Microsoft Office competency

·        High level of attention to detail

·        Positive and professional telephone skills
