Purpose

As an Office Administrator at Builders FirstSource, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our administrative functions. Your responsibilities will include coordinating workflow, communicating with various stakeholders, and providing administrative support to our teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate workflow and communications between operating units, vendors, and customers to support day-to-day administrative and operational processes.
  • Serve as a resource on all office policies, methods, and procedures, and perform data entry and retrieval functions.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and perform various accounting, compliance, inventory, or HR-related duties as requested.
  • May assist with sales orders, invoicing, customer accounts, and provide similar sales transaction support as requested.
  • Understand and observe all safety procedures and practices to prevent injury to yourself or coworkers.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3-5 years of administrative or related experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, and efficiently manage projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
