Job Description:
Requirements:
- The candidate shall possess the knowledge and skills set forth in the Specialized Cybersecurity and Privacy Support Services BOA, Section H.3.b for Senior Governance, Risk, and Compliance.
- The individual must also have the following set of specific knowledge and experience:
- Experience supporting the launch of a knowledge management program, specifically one with an information security or privacy focus
- Exceptional communication skills: the ability to collect information from-and share information with-technical teams as well as executive stakeholders
- Extensive experience writing and coordinating the review of policies and procedures in a broad range of topics, to include:
- Compliance
- Privacy
- ICAM
- Security engineering
- Cybersecurity operations
- Vulnerability management
- Security testing and evaluation
- Project management and administration
- Experience with SharePoint, to include site branding, page template development, and day-to-day site administration
Responsibilities:
The candidate shall provide support that includes, but is not limited to, the following tasks:
- Create an inventory of the knowledge management documentation that is currently in place, across all units in the branch
- Identify documentation that does not yet exist, but that should be developed
- Develop a comprehensive plan for the branch's knowledge management documentation, to include: an outline of all topics that should be covered, subject matter experts for each topic, a master plan defining the categories that will be used to organize and sort materials, and summaries of what documentation already exists vs. what must be developed
- Develop templates and models that staff will use to create new documents
- Develop a wireframe, showing how the material will be stored and presented in SharePoint
- Develop an implementation plan for developing all knowledge management materials and publishing them in SharePoint, to include drafting assignments, review assignments, publication target dates, and an overall completion target date
- Provide briefings to stakeholders throughout the planning process; present final recommendations and obtain approval on the implementation plan
- Configure the SharePoint site that the branch will use to host its knowledge management materials, to include apply IT Division site branding, develop page templates, and build out site structure
- Play an active role in drafting and reviewing knowledge management documents produced by Board staff, to include interviewing subject matter experts and developing drafts based on their input, coaching subject matter experts as they develop drafts themselves, editing all drafts developed by Board staff, and coordinating management reviews of drafts
- Publish all materials on the branch SharePoint site
- Ensure that any earlier versions of these knowledge management materials are archived and no longer referenced by staff
- Document business processes that Board staff will follow to maintain knowledge management practices in the future, to include processes for recurring reviews and updates, processes for developing new documents, and processes for managing the SharePoint site
- Provide briefings to branch teams, to ensure that all staff are aware of practices to be followed moving forward
- Transition day-to-day maintenance of the SharePoint site to Board staff
