Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED; a BS/BA in Logistics/Supply Chain or a related field is preferred, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Minimum of three years' proven experience as a supervisor or in a relevant role within distribution, 3PL, or warehouse environments.
  • Proficiency in 5S and continuous improvement programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and WMS software.
  • Experience with timekeeping systems; familiarity with ADP E-time is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

  • Adheres to established operational procedures, including verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, material handling, and warehouse inventory management.
  • Ensures completion of training (e.g., OSHA equipment, compliance) and maintains records for various purposes, including OSHA and customer audits.
  • Manages operational requirements within budgetary constraints and in accordance with customer specifications.
  • Cultivates a positive teamwork environment by actively listening, communicating with associates, and providing appropriate coaching.
  • Provides coaching and training to promote the success and productivity of associates, including issuing training, performance plans, or counseling as needed.
  • Plans, delegates, and supervises the work of hourly roles, including leads and office support staff.
  • Exceeds customer satisfaction by comprehensively understanding customer expectations and addressing complaints effectively.
  • Inputs payroll data for hourly direct reports daily and seeks approval weekly.
  • Reviews attendance information and administers attendance incentives or counseling as required.
  • Manages accident handling processes, including injury management, witness statements, reporting, and investigation.
  • Conducts interviews for hourly positions and makes hiring decisions based on organizational policies and applicable laws.
  • Upholds corporate and site-specific Good Manufacturing Practices and reports noncompliance as necessary.
  • Adheres to all company safety regulations and supports enforcement efforts as appropriate.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
