Shift Supervisor scheduled shifts and ensure Guests always receive their order in complete accuracy. You’ll be building positive relationships with delivery services, staff and kitchen personnel, helping everyone keep the guests happy.

Specific responsibilities of the Shift Supervisor include:

Keep it running smooth - Supervise operations during scheduled shifts, including daily decision-making, and staff support while upholding standards, product quality and cleanliness.Proactively (and enthusiastically) run a shift and anticipate Guest needsFollows the Hamburger Stand Theory, ensuring that the restaurant and staff are set up for an outstanding shiftObserves Team Member, providing immediate feedback, coaching, development, and recognitionFollow up on any issues and complaints they may have arisen during your shiftLeads motivational Alley Rallies ensuring that Team Members are engaged and informed regarding Fridays foodEnsures great food is delivered to every GuestConducts food safety and line checks to ensure food and beverage standards are met and executed safelyChecks in deliveries from vendors, ensuring quality and proper billingPrepare end of shift reports as necessaryEnsures a safe working environment to reduce the risk of injury and accidentsKeeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all issues and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of actionEnsures that all prepared food meets TGI Fridays standard of excellence, 100% recipe adherence, and adheres to product sensitivity and plate presentation guidelinesComplies with all food safety rules, laws, protocols, and standardsPlaces expo-ready food packaged correctly using the appropriate zoning standardsKeeps updated on recipe changes. Ensures proper execution of recipe procedures to maintain a high quality and consistent productKeeps entire kitchen clean; stocks and sets up rotationKeeps prepared food continuously moving out of the kitchenCommunicates ticket times and potential problems with the service staff, kitchen staff and ManagersCompletes assigned prep work for stocking and set up of station. Breaks down and cleans station thoroughly dailyCleans and sanitizes throughout the shiftEnsures proper rotation of all products and stocks products to par. Labels, day dots and signs all products as appropriateKeeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance and takes prompt corrective action where necessary or suggests alternative courses of action which may be takenPerforms other duties and responsibilities as required or requestedMust be able to follow TGI FRIDAYS and CDC guidelines concerning any health crisis. You must also have strong organizational and employee management skills with the ability to manage a multi-million-dollar business.

Specific requirements for the Shift Supervisor include:

One year of external restaurant experience Must be capable of performing all functions and meeting qualification standards for All positionsMust complete and pass background checkMust be able to walk and stand during entire shiftMust be able to read, write and speak EnglishMust be able to lift up to 30 lbs.
