Job Overview:

CaseGuard is a startup based in the DC area, expanding and looking for a Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team. In this role, you will develop, manage, and execute content strategies that align with our brand’s goals and objectives. You will create engaging and informative content across various platforms to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Content Creation: Develop, write, and edit high-quality content including articles, social media posts, email campaigns, and more.
  • Video Editing & Motion Graphics: Edit videos and create motion graphics for marketing campaigns, webinars, and our YouTube channel.
  • Graphic Design: Create and edit marketing material and other visual design needs using Adobe applications.
  • Content Strategy: Work closely with the marketing team to plan and execute content strategies that support brand messaging, SEO, and overall marketing goals.
  • SEO Optimization: Optimize content for search engines to increase visibility and drive organic traffic.
  • Social Media Management: Manage content distribution across social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand voice and messaging.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze content performance using tools like Google Analytics and social media insights to refine content strategies and improve results.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with designers, product marketers, sales professionals, and external influencers to produce relevant content that meets the needs of our audience.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all content is consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone, and adheres to the company’s brand guidelines.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in content creation, content marketing, or a similar role.
  • Experience with video editing using Premiere Pro and graphic creation on photoshop. 
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and tools like Google Analytics.
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate innovative ideas and solutions.
