Role Overview:

We are looking for an excellent Business Development Representative (BDR) who will be leading batched training sessions for new field sales representatives across the country. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in distribution field sales, particularly within the food and beverage sector, who is skilled at nurturing small business relationships and training others in this area. As a key part of the team, all employees receive significant equity packages into our high-growth company.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new field sales reps, focusing on sales strategies, product knowledge, and client engagement techniques.
  • Outbound calling to support our new field sales reps, assisting with tailored sales tactics and solutions to challenges in the field.
  • Develop and refine training materials and programs to ensure effectiveness and consistency across all training sessions.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of new users, providing feedback and additional coaching as needed to ensure high performance.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align training with overall business strategies and sales targets.


Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a distribution field sales role, ideally within the food and beverage industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle and grow small-format, independent business relationships.
  • Strong experience in training and developing sales teams, with a knack for conveying complex concepts in an accessible manner.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of maintaining poise under pressure and inspiring a team.
  • Passion for developing people and driving sales performance within the CPG sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Sales or a related field preferred.
