Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the property and ensure the property is in good working order.
  • Supervise superintendent and building staff in daily maintenance and repair schedules.
  • Supervise the scheduling maintenance and repairs
  • Negotiating contracts with vendors, regularly inspecting property, quickly resolving emergency maintenance issues, and enforce property rules and regulations.
  • Oversee monthly rent billing and collections.
  • Oversee rent collection and handling of delinquent accounts through legal eviction and collections.
  • Set leasing and marketing strategy for the property.
  • Create and maintain relationships with industry partners and brokers.
  • Maintain weekly leasing reports and monthly market survey.
  • Oversee speedy turnover of newly vacated apartments.
  • Interface with internal departments such as financial management, client payroll, compliance, residential applications, insurance, leasing, energy, and project management

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years experience in Property Management

Strong background in Residential Property Management (5+ years) including familiarity with local real estate laws and regulations including rent stabilization.

Hands-on experience with capital improvement construction projects, ability to plan, organize and coordinate multiple projects

Must be highly organized, flexible, and detail-oriented.
