What will your role be?

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer with a strong background in cockpit systems, particularly in Electronic Flight Instrument Systems (EFIS) and Flight Management Systems (FMS). The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of avionics display systems and other key cockpit technologies. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and integrating advanced cockpit systems, ensuring they meet rigorous safety and performance standards.


Activities:

  • Design and develop avionics systems, with a focus on EFIS, FMS, and other cockpit display systems
  • Conduct system integration and testing to ensure compatibility and functionality of all cockpit components
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software, hardware, and test engineers, to ensure seamless system performance
  • Develop and maintain system requirements, specifications, and documentation
  • Perform system-level troubleshooting and problem-solving to resolve technical issues
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
  • Participate in design reviews, providing technical expertise and feedback to enhance system design and performance
  • Support the certification process of avionics systems by preparing necessary documentation and participating in regulatory audits


What skills and qualifications are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in the design and development of cockpit systems, specifically EFIS and FMS
  • Strong understanding of avionics display systems and other cockpit technologies
  • Proficiency in system integration and testing methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems
  • Familiarity with industry standards DO 187 and regulatory requirements related to avionics systems
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable systems
