What you’ll bring to the table:

To be successful in this role, you’ll be an experienced Microsoft Office 365 user and a friendly, cooperative and positive person. You will need to be an energetic, self-starter who is capable of handling multiple projects and priorities. You must be detail oriented, have excellent grammar, computer, phone and organizational skills. You must be willing to be trained to use our computer forms for drafting pleadings and documents and either have knowledge of Florida courts e-filing processes and requirements or be able to learn this.


Some details about what you will do:

  • You will support multiple attorneys who work in Trust & Estate Administration and Planning.
  • You will perform a variety of paralegal tasks while delivering high-quality services to internal and external clients, exhibiting commitment to integrity and excellence.
  • You will be able to demonstrate thorough knowledge of firm and practice-specific processes and procedures.
  • You will review and draft pleadings, letters, and notices relevant to probate and trust administration as well as review and draft estate planning documents as directed by the supervising attorney.
  • Your responsibilities will include prioritizing, managing and following through on multiple projects while communicating effectively with clients, attorneys, staff and peers.
  • You will facilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders.
  • You will maintain records regarding billable hours spent on specific matters.


Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field; Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or related field preferred.
  • Paralegal certificate preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience at a law firm is preferred but not required.


The work-day and benefits:

This full-time position will be accompanied by a competitive benefits package including healthcare and 401k. You will be paid $33+/hour depending upon your experience. The hired candidate will enjoy 20+ Vacation/PTO days per year and 8+ paid holidays. As a Paralegal, you will be working for a multi-service law firm with offices in Palm Beach Gardens, Boca Raton, and Ft. Lauderdale. You will work in-office/onsite at our Palm Beach Gardens location with work hours between 8:30-5:30 or 9-6.
