Key Requirements and Technology Experience:


  • 2-3 years in a customer facing role from any field
  • Nice to Have: call center or insurance exp
  • “CSR on steroids” – not just transactional; taking initiative to taking things further, higher level thinking, degree preferred
  • Need someone looking to grow a career, moving into the next level, closer to supervisor role
  • Handling clients that need more attention
  • Strong verbal and writing skills
  • Multitasking – talking, typing, looking up info, etc
  • Some sort of management exp (maybe managing a project, not necessarily people)
  • Know how to escalate if they don’t have the answers
  • 99% inbound calls; speaking with members, brokers, and consultants
  • They are responsible for high level service, not volume
  • Natural empathy, advocating for the caller
  • Curious, self-starters, always learning
