About Us: CannaPlanners is a Burlington, VT-based creative design and web development agency specializing in digital marketing, brand building, and UX strategy for the emerging Cannabis Industry. Our clients include start-ups, recreational and medical use Cannabis dispensaries, Canna brands, and B2B service providers. Over the years, we've helped businesses improve customer service, market and sell their products online, and attract new customers.

Job Description:

We are looking for a Web Specialist who will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and optimizing our clients’ websites. The ideal candidate is a creative and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in web design and development, capable of managing multiple projects and ensuring the highest level of quality in their work.


Responsibilities:
  • Web Design:
  • design visually appealing, user-friendly websites that align with client branding and objectives.
  • Create responsive web designs that provide a seamless user experience across various devices and browsers.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand requirements and translate them into effective web solutions.
  • Support Work:
  • Provide ongoing technical support and maintenance for existing websites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues promptly to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist clients with website-related inquiries and provide training as needed.
  • Website QA:
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance (QA) testing to identify and rectify bugs, compatibility issues, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Ensure websites meet industry standards and best practices for accessibility, usability, and security.
  • Implement regular updates and enhancements to improve website functionality and user experience.
  • Content Migration:
  • Manage the migration of content from old websites to new platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Work with content management systems (CMS) to update and maintain website content.
  • Coordinate with clients to organize and optimize content for web presentation.


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS, with a solid understanding of web design principles and best practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues effectively.
  • Experience with WordPress or similar platforms.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
