Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer continuous feedback on deliverables
  • Acquire necessary knowledge to fulfill job responsibilities (technology, product, and processes)

  • Proficiency in Python for test instrumentation and feature test page creation
  • Java skills for resolving production incidents
  • PHP knowledge for enhancing existing PHP functionalities
  • Create Amazon AMIs and manage EC2 instances, with familiarity in AWS CLI.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • A strong engineer with expertise in high-performance multithreading Java applications. Knowledge of browser instrumentation and JavaScript is advantageous.
  • 3-5 years of experience in QA and programming
  • Experience in testing web application architectures; understanding of web servers, application servers, and databases
  • Development experience in at least one high-level programming language, preferably Python, with a desire to leverage these skills in ensuring software quality.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services
  • Exceptional attention to detail, quality, and customer satisfaction
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks; experience in startup environments is a plus
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
  • U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Apache/mod_wsgi, Flask, and Postgres
  • Experience in a cross-platform environment
  • iOS / Android experience is a plus
  • Document and disseminate technical information and processes
