Role Description

We are seeking a full-time Payroll and HRIS Specialist (UKG) to join our team. The Specialist is responsible for monitoring the payroll functionality and initiating model practices necessary to accomplish the Kendal System payroll processing objectives. This role also manages the enterprise wide HRIS operations including UKG Pro and other systems that are utilized by the HR and Payroll teams.


Qualifications

  • Previous experience in multi-state payroll administration and HRIS management
  • Working knowledge of UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) software
  • Familiarity with multi-state payroll laws and regulations (including California)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Analytical ability to manipulate and understand data
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent judgement and professionalism when managing confidential and sensitive information
  • Effective internal and external customer service focus in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation through American Payroll Association
  • Bachelor's degree or the equivalent years of experience
  • Professional certifications such as CPP or SHRM-CP (preferred)
