The Senior Project Manager, Development will be responsible to support the National Property Operations department in developing and delivering project plans for new programs and initiatives to further service the Property Operations strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Project Management
- Ability to organize, plan, execute, implement, and monitor Industrial Development & Tenant Improvement projects throughout all stages.
- Develop and deliver strategies of multiple projects.
- Identify and manage the scope of a project.
- Create & monitor project plan and schedule.
- Track milestones and ensure due dates are achieved.
- Ability to define project goals and communicate to stakeholders to project closure.
- Manage the production of required project deliverables.
- Carefully manage project scope.
- Understand all the elements needed for a project and communicate to stakeholders and project team.
- Understand everyone's roles and responsibilities to be able to assign project tasks.
- Identify and engage stakeholders to create and manage efficient task structures.
- Risk, delays or roadblocks properly communicated to necessary parties.
Stakeholder Management
- Engage with business leaders as their trusted advisor as it relates to delivery.
- Develop partnerships with key stakeholders and business owners across all applicable departments.
- Engage user communities in a continuous feedback loop that drives programs and projects forward.
- Maintain collaborative relationships with the Link Technology and Data teams across architecture, engineering, and product groups.
- Expert level communication skills to translate technical terms into clear capabilities that will enable business success.
Project Delivery
- Develop business cases, user requirements, and project charters.
- Work with impacted department heads to prioritize projects, plan releases, and manage resources across projects & cross functional teams.
- Create and maintain dependency plans requiring delivery from teams outside of assigned projects.
- Create and manage processes for testing, release management, and change control.
- Manage communications with stakeholders & project team.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years experience in project management executing large Ground-up projects and/or Tenant Improvements.
- A BA/BS in business management, Construction or Development, Real Estate, Architecture, etc.
- Project Management certified is a plus.
- Must be proficient in all Microsoft 365 Applications including but not limited to Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of Yardi modules is a plus.
- Strong aptitude for learning new software and platforms.
- Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills to coordinate project activities.
- Presents excellent communication skills through oral and written mediums to effectively communicate with personnel at all levels.
- Must be able to run multiple projects simultaneously from conception to implementation.
- A strong work ethic, with an ability to work in a dynamic and demanding work environment to meet critical deadlines.
- Intelligence, with a keen focus on details.
