The Senior IT Risk & Compliance Analytics Analyst will work locally and in a hybrid capacity, not as a contract role but as a full-time direct position. This role will oversee the end-to-end execution of the centralized User Entitlement Review (UER) process utilizing internally developed tools in Outsystems and Alteryx. Reporting to the Manager of IT Risk & Compliance, the analyst will collaborate with various levels of management to ensure compliance with access management policies. Responsibilities include identifying compliance gaps, assisting in remediation, and conducting risk assessments.


Key Job Activities:


  • Perform end-to-end centralized User Entitlement Reviews, involving UER data preparation and ETL processes using Alteryx, monitoring reviews in progress, validating post-access removal, and assessing risks associated with access removal across multiple applications.
  • Support development, testing, and implementation of updates to UER tools to ensure accuracy and completeness of user access.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to gather business requirements for implementing applications in UER tools, understanding access provisioning processes and security architectures.
  • Apply analytical skills to identify risks, weaknesses, and compliance issues in user access controls, and remediate compliance issues promptly.
  • Utilize technical expertise to map and execute ETL processes in user access review workflows.
  • Maintain SOPs, document best practices, and optimize user access review processes.
  • Lead troubleshooting and data tracing activities to ensure data transformation integrity.
  • Use data analysis techniques, including SQL queries, to review access data accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with auditing standards throughout the user access review process.
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders and external auditors to explain technical and functional aspects of the UER process.


Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Basic understanding of auditing standards applied to user access reviews.
  • 5+ years of experience in a fast-paced professional environment.
  • Previous experience in audit, controls, process, or IT audit preferred but not required.


Licenses and Required Competencies:


  • Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into practical review strategies and quantitative analytics.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and risks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to generate creative solutions.
  • Combines technical knowledge with business understanding.
  • Strong commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality.
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting and data tracing techniques.
  • Strong communication and written skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly and diplomatically.
  • Adaptable to changing priorities, capable of multitasking and working under pressure.
  • Demonstrates initiative and works well in a team environment.
  • Efficient time management and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.


Technical Skills:


  • Familiarity with data modeling, data mapping, and data transformation techniques.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries, database management, and data completeness concepts.
  • Familiarity with Alteryx or similar ETL tools.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).


Other:


  • Occasional travel may be required for training and support functions.
  • In-office presence 3 days a week, with flexibility as needed.
