The Client is a municipal authority dedicated to delivering the highest standards of drinking water and wastewater services to the community. Our mission is to protect public health and the environment while ensuring exceptional service.


Role Overview

The Client will oversee and manage the operations and maintenance of the sanitary sewer conveyance system and water production/distribution system, including wells, tanks, and interconnects. This role requires a commitment to being available 24/7 and working in various weather conditions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the daily operations and maintenance of the water and sewer systems
  • Manage a full-time team of six staff members and oversee outside contractors to ensure the effective operation of all facilities
  • Lead and support an established team, fostering a positive work culture while seeking to optimize processes and provide training
  • Interact professionally with customers, the public, developers, professional staff, and government agencies to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations
  • Be available for emergency situations and work in inclement weather as needed


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or business
  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic concepts and applications
  • PA DEP operator certifications (or the ability to attain within one year) relevant to Authority systems
  • Leadership skills with the ability to manage and inspire a team
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and professional communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining high standards of service and operational excellence
